Dates: 16.04.2019 - 02.06.2019

Research Design: The goal of this project was to obtain a reliable conception of public opinion in several countries. The survey included questions about media usage, the political and economic situation in each country, attitudes towards the government, and opinions on other countries. In addition, it provided demographic information, such as age, education level, religion, and employment status, among others. Fieldwork was conducted simultaneously in the five target countries. To obtain a nationally representative sample in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, a combination of stratification and cluster sampling was used.  In each country, all of the regions were included in the sample frame and selection process. The sample size was of 1500 in each country. All interviews were completed on a tablet. Respondent selection in all of the countries was done with a Kish Grid programmed on a tablet.
