Central Asia Barometer and the Monash University Malaysia have signed a Memorandum on Understanding and have agreed to establish partnerships and develop long-term, effective and mutual relations aimed at implementing joint ideas and projects such as: 

• Exchange of experts;
• Joint organization of round tables, conferences, and seminars;
• Conducting joint research projects and publishing academic publications;
• Regular mutual exchange of ideas and best practices;
• Other forms and areas of cooperation as to be mutually agreed upon by the Parties.

Researchers from both organizations are currently working on a joint research project.
